The Department of Education will adhere to the decision of President Duterte on extending the postponement of pilot face-to-face classes and expressed readiness to implement it once approved in the c

oming months.

“We understand that the availability and roll out of vaccines in the country are critical factors for this undertaking,” DepEd said. First, DepEd said that the pilot implementation of face-to-face classes will only take place only in areas categorized as low-risk or at least under Modified General Community Quarantine .
