As cited by the Civil Service Commission (CSC), 11 DepEd personnel from different schools and field offices were recognized as some of the country’s exemplary civil servants in the 2020 and 2021 Search for Outstanding Government Workers.

The Department of Education lauded teachers and school officials who exemplified outstanding professionalism and dedication to public service.As cited by the Civil Service Commission , 11 DepEd personnel from different schools and field offices were recognized as some of the country’s exemplary civil servants in the 2020 and 2021 Search for Outstanding Government Workers.

“Guided by our core values of Maka-Diyos, Maka-tao, Makakalikasan, Makabansa, we are committed to nurturing more professionals who are steadfast to their duties for the Filipino people,” DepEd added. For exemplary display of ethical behavior in observance of the code of conduct under Republic Act No. 6713, DepEd recipients of 2020 Dangal ng Bayan award are conferred to Principal III Jeremy Atun Cruz of Pagasa National High School in Legazpi City; Teacher I Jeffrey Galera Dimalig of Mate Elementary School, Tayabas, Quezon; Principal I Gregorio Apues Legal of Mary Perpetua E.
