The DBM's officer in charge says the office can release within 10 days the P311 million funds that the DOH needs to pay the benefits of health care workers. COVID19

President Rodrigo Duterte gave the deadline to the two agencies after medical frontliners said they would go on a "medical lockdown" or a strike if they do not receive their special risk allowance and other benefits soon.

"'Yung distribution n'yan DOH na ang bahala. Hopefully mabilis na ang pagdownload ng DOH sa kanya-kanyang ospital atsaka sa private hospitals."

DBM will release the fund to DOH and DOH will return the fund to national treasury. Kawawa naman yung mga health workers.
