That was more than enough for the Tigers to buck the ejection of ace player Justine Sanchez as they scrambled to eke out a much deserved 90-86 squeaker of the Capitals and set up a winner-take-all showdown for a semifinals berth in the PSL President’s Cup.
Sanchez, Davao Occidental’s most consistent player, was ejected in the game after a technical foul was upgraded to an unsportsmanlike foul for hitting fouling Byron Villarias above the shoulders with still 6:02 left.
