Davao del Norte Vice Gov. De Carlo Uy on Sunday vowed to speedily review all pending programs in the province with an eye on implementing them without delays.
He gave assurance that the provincial government would find ways to fast-track the delivery of government services. “I instructed them to continue their tasks. Whatever budget and annual investment plan that we passed and approved, it should be as is and where is,” he added. Bersamin said Jubahib was ordered suspended “to prevent any undue interference in the conduct of the investigation.”
“Secondly, the preventive suspension of Gov. Jubahib was ordered only after the issues were joined in accordance with Section 63 of Republic Act No. 7160 and Sections 1 and 4, Rule 6 of Administrative Order No. 23 series of 1992 ,” Bersamin added.
