The Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR) recently turned over P7.6 million worth of farm machinery, trucks, and inputs to members of nine agrarian reform beneficiaries organizations (ARBOs) in San Nicolas, Ilocos Norte.

The Department of Agrarian Reform recently turned over P7.6 million worth of farm machinery, trucks, and inputs to members of nine agrarian reform beneficiaries organizations in San Nicolas, Ilocos Norte.

Implemented under the Climate Resilient Farm Productivity Support Project , the project aims to protect the environment, and reduce poverty levels by creating sustainable employment and income-generating opportunities for the farmers affected by climate change, Celeste said. Celeste was joined by Ilocos Norte 1st District Rep. Sandro Marcos, who graced the occasion and thanked the DAR for the machines and farm inputs. He assured the farmers of his support in working for the economic improvement of their district.

DAR Provincial Agrarian Reform Program Officer Vic Ines said the beneficiaries of the machines and farm inputs are members of nine ARBOs from the towns of Dumalneg, Burgos, Sarrat, Pinili, Banna, Dingras, Marcos, and Currimao.
