The Department of Agrarian Reform and Land Registration Authority have signed a joint administrative order that would speed up the generation and registration of computerized individual land titles in connection with the implementation of the World Bank-funded Support to Parcelization of Lands for Individual Titling Project.
“The joint AO will expedite the generation and registration of computerized individual titles since it will no longer require submission of the Owner’s Duplicate Copy of the CCLOA title to the Registry of Deeds as a requirement for the processing of the C-titles,” DAR Undersecretary for Legal Affairs Office Luis Meinrado C. Pañgulayan said for his part.
The joint DAR and LRA guidelines will revitalize the rediscovered synergy to efficiently and effectively ensure land tenure security and strengthen the property rights of the ARBs, DAR Central Luzon Regional Director James Arsenio Ponce said.
