THE Department of Health on Saturday, December 4, 2021, reported that Covid-19 mortalities in the Philippines have breached the 49,000-mark, with 243 new deaths.

Despite this, fresh Covid-19 cases have stayed below 1,000 for the 11th straight day, recording only 517 on Saturday.The new cases increased the country's total caseload to 2,834,294.
