The COVID-19 positivity rate has been decreasing now in most of Luzon provinces, with that in the National Capital Region (NCR) dipping to a moderate 16.8%, OCTA Research fellow Dr. Guido David said Monday.

David said that NCR’s testing positivity rate, or the percentage of people who were found positive for COVID-19 among the total number of individuals tested, went down from 21.7% on May 27, to 16.8% on June 3.“moderate” level of 19.9% on May 30Further, Bulacan, La Union, Rizal, and Tarlac’s positivity rates also all decreased from high to moderate level as of Saturday.

The active cases also decreased to 13,808, the lowest in 25 days after 23 straight days of more than 14,000 active cases, according to GMA Integrated News Research.
