BREAKING NEWS. The Department of Health records 4,289 new coronavirus cases on Wednesday, July 7, 2021. Total cases now at 1,450,110. Total deaths at 25,459; total recoveries at 1,377,132.

The Philippines' total number of COVID-19 cases is now at 1,430,419 after the Department of Health reported 5,908 new cases on Saturday, July 3.DOH data showed that of the total number of cases, 3.8% or 53,665 are active. Meanwhile, recoveries are up by 7,698, bringing the total recovered cases to 1,351,691.

The DOH said all testing laboratories in the country were operational on Thursday, July 1, but five laboratories were unable to submit data to the department's COVID-19 document repository system. Based on data from the past two weeks, the five laboratories account for 2.2% of samples tested and 2.9% of positive individuals.
