OLONGAPO CITYThree more patients here have succumbed to COVID-19 complications as the total number of confirmed cases already surpassed the 5,000-mark, local health data showed Monday.
One of the latest COVID-19 fatalities was a senior citizen aged 64 while the other two were aged 34 and 51.Their passing raised to 247 the city’s COVID-19 death toll based on the data from the local inter-agency task force. Some 47 new infections were also added to the city’s growing data from September 25-26, pushing to 5,040 Olongapo’s confirmed cases since the pandemic struck last year.
