As the number of cases increased immediately during the implementation of the ECQ, we could not help but ask, “is the ECQ in NCR working?”.

The limited number of vaccines against the dreaded COVID-19 in the country has left the government no choice but to use non-medical interventions to slow down the spread of the disease. This includes the order to use masks, the mandate for physical distancing, and the implementation of quarantine protocols in highly affected areas. This month, the strictest level of quarantine was imposed in NCR to reduce the impact of critical cases on the medical system and control the spread of the virus.

The government announced on July 30 that ECQ would start on August 6 as it was feared that the Delta variant is already in the National Capital Region. On August 6, the Department of Health confirmed that the highly contagious Delta coronavirus variant has been found in all cities of Metro Manila. As you can see, the lines are color-coded using their Z values. The red lines mean that MORE people traveled into an area, while green lines mean that fewer people went into an area. During this pandemic, you would want to see NO lines as much as possible.

This table charts the places where travel happened after the most recent ECQ . I sorted them from HIGHEST to Lowest.

ECQ is effective ONLY as a 1-time start up band-aid cure vs virus contagion which happened last year March to set drastic strategic plans vs covid. But we didn't plan ahead, we focus on forced restrictions. The longer d ECQ d more harmful 4 our economy, mental & health. We lost.

It is not a matter of Ecq or quarantines, it is a matter of getting vaccinated and proper tracing as well as respect the social distancing. At some point everybody will be infected. Being open to not destroy the economy will help more than locking us down, idiots!

Obviously it is NOT! What is needed is differential diagnosis to differentiate cv19 from other respiratory disease.

It should be working if everyone will abide by the rules and no excuses.

Militarized lockdowns & vaccination program are all pre-planned because the covid-19 issue is a SCAM-DEMIC. Is there any expert that could identify where & what was the origin of the virus? If there is, did they isolate the original virus to be tested? None at all!

Yes. It helped so the increased was not exponential.

The effects of ECQ, whether good or bad, can be seen only around 1-2 weeks after end of its implementation. In March/April this year, during the ECQ peak was at 15k, but number eventually went down. Let’s just hope and pray its effective.

It doesnt feel like ECQ at all

ECQ WALANG KWENTA MGA BOBO ANG VIRUS HNDI NAYAN MAWALA FOREVER NA YAN OPEN THE ECONOMY MGA UGOK

Absolutely a right question!!!! IS THE ECQ REALLY WORKING IN NCR

ECQ is the least a nation could do. There’s still no proven system to combat the mutation of virus as manifested in other great countries. Stop being assholes!

Implementation of ECQ was late. You people waited first BEFORE the virus have started attacking!

sa pagbibigay lang ng pera halos magkadikit na titi at pekpek. wala ng social distancing... mass suicide ang nangyayari

Did they bother to ask the real problem lol pcr test? Mainstream media? Experimental vaccine that's causing the problem

Of course no hahahahahah

Not helping seem everything is normal outside. Hay hay

NO!

ECQ is not working, why?

We all know its a JOKE. 🤣🤣🤣 ECQ but mga Jeeps punong puno. 🤣🤣🤣

BIG NO
