– A man and his wife died, while their son was injured, after a van they were riding-in accidentally collided with a dump truck along the national highway in Barangay San Juan, Sta. Lucia, Ilocos Sur on Thursday.
Police Captain Leonilo Ancheta, the Sta. Lucia town’s chief of police, identified the fatalities as James Oliver Marzan, 34, an overseas worker, and his wife, Rho Anne Marzan, 34, a nurse. Both were residents of Barangay Poblacion West, Pidigan, Abra.
The injured victims were rushed to the nearest hospital but James Oliver and his wife, Rho Anne, were declared dead on arrival. The couple’s son is presently confined in the hospital.
