t – Another marijuana plantation was discovered by operating troops in Tabuk City, Kalinga.

Police Regional Office-Cordillera Director Brig. Gen. R’win Pagkalinawan said the police operatives were conducting intelligence gathering when they chanced upon a marijuana plantation in Sitio Ileb, Barangay Nambaran, Tabuk City, Kalinga early June 6. A total of 1,000 fully grown marijuana plants were uprooted in an estimated land area of 200 square meters. The plants had a value of P200,000.

At a neighboring area, they also discovered another plantation area estimated 1,500 marijuana plants in a 300 square-meter land area with an estimated value of P300,000. The marijuana plants were uprooted and burned onsite while samples were brought to Kalinga Provincial Police Office for proper disposition.
