These subvariants include the BA.5 and BA.4, which have already been detected in the country, as well as the BA.2.75, or the Centaurus variant.'We have not yet detected BA2.75, but we expect that it is now present in the country,' David said.With cases not yet reaching their peak, David projects that the daily cases nationwide would hover between 3,000 and 4,000 cases per day, with around 1,000 cases in the NCR alone.
