The Commission on Elections together with its partners signed a memorandum of agreement for the conduct of the National Election Summit slated in January 2023.
In a statement on Thursday, Nov. 17, Comelec said that the summit aims to “provide a platform for a national dialogue and interaction with, consultation and participation of election stakeholders in the review, formulation and/or enhancement of policies, plans, and programs in election administration and electoral enforcement and adjudication.”
The poll body said that it has also conducted “consultations” with civil society organizations, Information Technology professionals, as well as other concerned government agencies as it is “looking to hold more pre-summit sessions in the rest of the year.”
