The deadline for the application for the local absentee voting is until March 7, 2022, the Commission on Elections said.

Those who are qualified to apply for LAV are government officials and employees; members of the Philippine National Police; and members of the Armed Forces of the Philippines who are registered voters. Their applications must be filed “before the heads of offices/ supervisors/ commanders/ officers next-in–rank.”

“In case that they will not be able to vote due to the performance of their functions in covering and reporting on the conduct of elections,” the Comelec said.
