THE northeast monsoon also known as 'amihan' which brings cold nights and mornings will end by the third week of March, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said on Monday.The northeast monsoon continues to affect northern and central Luzon including Metro Manila where partly cloudy to overcast skies with isolated light rains may prevail in the next 24 hours, weather specialist Robert Badrina said.

'Areas in Luzon could still experience cold nights and mornings due to the northeast monsoon in the coming days but based on Pagasa's data and analysis, this weather system would probably disappear on the third week of the month,' the Pagasa forecaster said.
