Several parts of Palawan and provinces within Visayas and Mindanao may experience cloudy skies and rain showers this weekend due to the low-pressure area west of the country, the state weather bureau said. | GabrielLaluINQ

Pagasa said that Luzon might also experience isolated rain showers because of the easterlies or warm winds from the Pacific Ocean.

As for the LPA on the eastern side, it still has not made its way into the Philippine area of responsibility. It was last seen 1,295 kilometers east of Northern Mindanao, embedded along the ITCZ. For Saturday’s forecast, temperatures over most parts of Luzon would continue to remain high, ranging from 26 to 35 degrees Celsius over Metro Manila; 25 to 37 degrees in Tuguegarao; 24 to 33 degrees in Laoag; 17 to 26 degrees in Baguio; 23 to 32 degrees in Tagaytay; and 25 to 34 degrees in Legazpi.

Puerto Princesa, on the other hand, might experience something between 25 to 28 degrees Celsius due to the rains expected in the area. Temperatures over Visayas and Mindanao would also be warm despite the possibility of rains: Iloilo and Tacloban would have something between 25 to 33 degrees Celsius; Cebu with 26 to 33 degrees; Cagayan de Oro with 25 to 32 degrees; and Zamboanga and Davao with 25 to 34 degrees.
