THE Philippine National Police is eyeing the filing of a civil case against embattled dismissed cop Wilfredo Gonzales for failing to return yet the separation pay he received despite dismissal from police service.
In a press conference in Camp Crame, Brigadier General Niño David Rabaya, director of the PNP-Retirement and Benefits Administration Service , said Gonzales is required to bring back to the PNP around P588,000. “As a matter of procedure, we are already preparing the demand letter for patrolman Gonzales to return the money,” he said.
