The Taguig City government opened on Wednesday, Nov. 30, the Christmas by the Lake, a six-hectare outdoor attraction that is touted as the biggest lights park in the country.

Located at the Lakeshore Area along Laguna Lake Highway in Barangay Lower Bicutan, the attraction features more than one million lights using energy-efficient technology, lights and sounds show with laser and beam animation, and food stalls.“This newest attraction from the City is something we should all be proud of because it reflects not only our identity as a ‘probinsyudad’ but also our values as a community,” said Mayor Lani Cayetano.

The park boasts of Christmas-themed installations, including Little Drummer Boy and nativity scenes, rides, activities and shows. At Christmas by the Lake, visitors can express the things they are most thankful for for the year and their New Year’s wishes in ribbons, which they can tie around a gratitude tree with the help of marshals.
