MANILA, Philippines - Teams of the Chooks-to-Go Pilipinas 3x3 league met with Commissioner Eric Altamirano and a health expert from the University of the Philippines last week to discuss their upcomin

g 2020 season.

Altamirano and his team discussed in detail how the league will proceed in the time of COVID-19, with Dr. Butch Ong of UP explaining to the teams the health protocols that will be implemented. "We had to be very thorough and detailed during the meeting with the team owners, since we can't leave a stone unturned, especially with the pandemic still on-going," said Altamirano.

"The players' safety was greatly emphasized," added Nueva Ecija's Reyes. "We can't wait to get back to work since this is really for them."

Labella: We cannot afford to go back to MECQCebu City Mayor Edgardo Labella is appealing to Cebu City residents to follow GCQ protocols -- health protocols and social distancing. Correct, Mayor. So, please stop messing around with that PBB non-sense which months ago got us back into the ECQ mess. Agreed, but second wave will come. It’s unfortunate but inevitable. The US number of cases and deaths are still increasing, and even more hospital admissions. One solution: urgently employ more nurses and medtechs and pay them more than what they’re earning as a call center agent i just find this mayor unimpressive, lacks that leadership energy cebu needs right now. maybe i'm just seeing too much digong that anything less is weak! Thanks Tatay D. :)
