THE Chinese Embassy in Manila on Tuesday said it will cooperate with relevant agencies in the deportation of illegal Chinese POGO workers.The embassy made the remark when sought for reaction on the planned deportation of around 40,000 Chinese nationals who are working in POGO firms whose licenses have been revoked.

The embassy stressed that crimes induced by and associated with online gambling 'not only harm China's interests and China-Philippines relations, but also hurt the interests of the Philippines.'Sen. Joseph Victor 'JV' Ejercito expressed his support for the summary deportation of illegal and overstaying workers employed by POGOs nationwide.
