– A children’s book titled “Milton and the Invisible Coronavirus”, developed by the Danish publisher Milton Around the World, in partnership with and support from Grundfos, a global pump manufacturer in Asia Pacific, will soon hit the schools and non-government organizations in the Asia-Pacific region.
According to Grundfos Group President and Chief Executive Officer Mads Nipper, the book aims to reduce the fear and uncertainty that the children may be experiencing about the coronavirus disease pandemic that is difficult to understand. Grundfos Group partnered with Milton Around The World to develop an illustrated children’s book to help shed light on what the COVID-19 pandemic was all about, and how we can play our part in fighting it.
“Milton and the Invisible Coronavirus” was developed with children ages 5-8 years in mind, with the rabbit Milton with his two friends Amanda the butterfly and Conrad the hedgehog navigating the various challenges in their daily lives as a result of the pandemic – from social distancing to ensuring personal hygiene.
“Everyone has a part to play in fighting the COVID-19 pandemic, including the younger generation. We recognize that they are innately curious individuals and we want to help empower them with the knowledge to navigate this new world,” Nipper said.
