The Commission on Higher Education and the Department of Education said on Sunday that the list of schools that can be potentially used as vaccination sites is not yet final.

DepEd Undersecretary Diosdado San Antonio said that schools should comply with some requirements before they can be used as possible sites.

Meanwhile, CHED Chairperson Prospero De Vera III said that he recently met with National Task Force on Covid-19 Response chief implementor Carlito Galvez, Jr. on the options that universities and colleges could consider if they decided to offer their campuses as vaccination sites. Some local government units like Manila and Quezon City are already eyeing some schools as vaccination facilities.
