CEBU CITY, Philippines – The defending champion University of Cebu Baby Webmasters opened their title retention bid on a high note, crushing the University of the Visayas Baby Lancers, 87-46, in the 19th CESAFI Junior basketball tournament at the Cebu Coliseum on Tuesday night, September 10, 2019. Maczi Micutuan topscored for the UC Baby Webmasters with 19 points, King Balaga chipped in 16 while Kenyon Pondoc added 12 points.The two were last year’s finalists for the junior title, which UC won.Isiah Blanco, the son of Cebuano hotshot Dondon Hontiveros, left the ballgame with 2:51 left in the third quarter following a hard fall.
