Local airline Cebu Pacific announced Wednesday it temporarily suspend online check-in for international flights due to coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19)

“Hi everyJuan, online check-in is temporarily unavailable for international flights, as we have to check prior travel due to COVID-19,” the airline said in a Twitter advisory.

The airline advised passengers to proceed to airport counters for document check and to get boarding pass.The Philippine government has earlier announced a temporary travel ban that barred flights arriving from mainland China to prevent the spread of COVID-19. On February 26, the government also imposed a travel restriction on South Korea.
