THE Chamber of Cosmetics Industry of the Philippines Inc.

, in collaboration with Globe Business, recently empowered the Philippine cosmetics industry through a three-day seminar titled 'Guidance to Industry — A Cosmetic and Household Urban Hazardous Substance Good Manufacturing Practice and Product Information File Training and Workshop.'Held at the Globe Tower in Taguig City, the program attracted 156 participants from manufacturing, trading and distribution companies.

This will ultimately help companies achieve favorable outcomes in regulatory submissions for licenses, certifications, registrations, and notifications.Since 2014, CCIP has been conducting annual GMP trainings. Pre-pandemic, these were held in person, while virtual sessions were offered during the pandemic.Shirley Cayago, CCIP vice president of education and professional development from Wipro Splash Corporation, emphasized the value of the seminar.
