Several kilograms of vegetables were harvested from the Manila Boystown Complex organic farm and urban garden in Marikina.

FRESH HARVEST — Cauliflower, baguio beans, and green chili peppers from the organic farm and urban garden at the Manila Boystown Complex in Marikina.

Meanwhile, two kilos of baguio beans and a kilo of green chili peppers were harvested from the Manila Boystown Complex urban garden. The Manila Boystown Complex is an institution owned by the Manila city government that shelters senior citizens, orphaned children, and street dwellers. Aside from this, the city government also converted the horseback riding area of the Manila Zoo into an organic farm.
