– North Cotabato Governor Nancy Alaan Catamco reassumed office on Thursday from a 90-day preventive suspension and launched a Comprehensive Provincial Rebuilding Plan for her constituents “to rise” in more vibrant fashion from the adversities of recent earthquakes that hit her province.

After the aerial inspection, Catamco, accompanied by Maj. Gen. Jose Faustino of the 10th Infantry Division, proceeded to the provincial government seat in barangay Amas here where thousands of waiting supporters and office workers welcomed her. “As your governor, I will ensure that all assets of the provincial government – human, logistics, facilities, and financial resources – will be efficiently utilized to guarantee effective intervention to address the needs of communities affected by the earthquakes,” Catamco said.

“I can only offer them my conciliatory stance and appeal for their support. I cannot impose on them,” Catamco said.
