Casili rules SK category A in 12th Alegado Cup

CEBU, Philippines — Team Casili upended Pulpogan, 85-76, to win the championship in SK category A of the 12th Mayor Teresa “Nene” P. Alegado Cup Fiesta Basketball League in Consolacion, Cebu.

Melmar Maluya and JB Macanas showed the way for Casili with 19 points apiece while Regnier Gonzaga chipped in 14 markers. Paul Alelu Flores is the league commissioner, with Lee Mhar Dahil, Agvin Jugan, and Cromwell Cuenca as deputy commissioners and Stephen Ababon as technical head.

Unbeaten University of the Philippines and National U lock horns in a duel for the solo lead in the UAAP Season 86 men’s basketball tournament at the Smart Araneta Coliseum today.
