“We are postponing the sports meet to a later date for health security reasons due to the prevailing international health issue,” Mayor Magalong said.

IN A bid to safeguard close to 6,000 delegates coming from all over the region, Baguio City Mayor Benjamin Magalong on Friday, January 31, announced the postponement of the Cordillera Administrative Region Athletic Association .

“We are postponing the sports meet to a later date for health security reasons due to the prevailing international health issue,” Magalong said. “We are very much ready,” said DepEd Baguio assistant superintendent Soraya Faculo, who prepared this year’s Caraa budget right after the declaration of Baguio as host in December 2019.DepEd Cordillera, DepEd Baguio, city officials, Baguio Water District, among others formalized their support for the sports meet before the postponement.
