Philippine Consul General in Singapore Adrian Bernie Candolada confirmed on Monday that all six Filipino women involved in the accident are domestic workers. “Based on the report given us by the police, it was so sudden. The car just went off the road and ran through a group of Filipino women during their day off on the roadside,” Candolada said in an interview with CNN Philippines.
The envoy said two died, while four others remain in the hospital, two of which are in critical condition.“We have only established communication lines with the families of two of the victims,” Candolada said. In a report from Strait Times, eyewitnesses said that the car had crashed through a metal railing and landed on the side road next to the mall, hitting several people.Related Posts
