BACOLOD CITY – The city government of Cadiz in Negros Occidental commended the Philippine Normal University-Visayas for its performance in the March 2024 Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers .As one of the government-run institutions in Cadiz specializing in education programs and courses, PNU-V ranked fourth among the top performing schools in the country on the secondary level with 100 to 299 examinees.
Overall, the school garnered 99.03 percent and 96 percent passing rate for first-time takers on the secondary and elementary levels, respectively.Renante de la Torre Jr., a graduate of Bachelor Science in Mathematics Education in 2023, placed 10th in the exam with average of 90.80 percent. “It was indeed an astonishing performance of PNU-V worthy of praise that the local government of Cadiz can be proud of,” he said.
