The Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines sent a team to investigate the crash of a Cessna 152 aircraft at a vacant lot in Plaridel, Bulacan on Friday, September 17.CAAP spokesperson Eric Apolonio said the crashed aircraft was a two-seater, single-engine Cessna 152 light aircraft with identification number RPC 4623. It was owned by a certain Jett Marc Javellana, of Precision Flying School.
Two pilots were hurt in the incident and they were identified as Capt. Paul Jemuel Gayanes, 26; and Lebon Eisen Sandoval, 26.According to initial information from CAAP, the plane went down immediately after takeoff at Runway 35 of Plaridel Airport around 8:15 a.m.“The Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines is now conducting an investigation and [we] will find out the cause of the incident,” Apolonio said.
