The Bustos Dam in Bulacan released excess water on Saturday amid continuous rains in the area.

Corinne Catibayan on GTV News Live reported that Bustos Dam authorities released 226 cubic meters of water per second, and that they are planning to release more if rains continue.

Bustos Dam's spilling level is at 17.20 meters, and as of Saturday the water level was at 17.40 meters above sea level, the report said.Meanwhile, the report added that thewith the volume of up to 200 cubic meters per second. Citing information from dam authorities, the report said water volume release could be increased depending on the amount of rainfall in the area.
