The government has downgraded the quarantine status in the provinces of Bulacan, Apayao, and Capiz to general community quarantine .Palace Spokesman Harry Roque said that the GCQ status in these areas will take effect from October 18 to 31.
The Inter-Agency Task Force on the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases earlier placed Bulacan and Apayao under modified enhanced community quarantine, and Capiz under GCQ with heightened restrictions.Meanwhile, Metro Manila over the weekend shifted to Alert Level 3 as Covid-19 cases continue to decline.
