K-pop idol group BTS member Jin has been assigned to his own unit in the Korean Army.
Jin enlisted in the Army on Dec. 13 as an active duty soldier and entered the recruit training center in Yeoncheon, Gyeonggi Province.He is currently undergoing basic military training and will be finished on Jan. 18. He will serve as an teaching assistant in the same battalion starting on Jan. 19. His discharge date is on June 12, 2024, Korean media reported.
