MANILA, Philippines — The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority will push through with its dry run of provincial bus ban along Edsa on Wednesday, August 7. MMDA spokesperson Celine Pialago said Tuesday that the agency has not yet received the court order that will stop them from enforcing the ban.“Since we haven’t received the writ of PI , we will push through with the dry run,” Pialago told reporters in a Viber message.

Quezon City Regional Trial Court Branch 223 earlier issued a preliminary injunction against a memorandum circular issued by the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board that amends provincial bus routes and prohibits provincial buses from using Edsa.
