The Binibining Pilipinas Charities Inc. thanked on Tuesday, Dec. 10, the 55 Binibinis who represented the Philippines in the Miss Universe pageant for 56 years.
This is contained in the official statement released by BPCI after the Miss Universe Organization did not renew the pageant franchise with the prestigious national beauty pageant. “BPCI is proud to have held the license since 1964 and would like to thank the fifty five winners who were sent to the Miss Universe pageant to participate. In all those years, we have garnered Miss Universe winners, nine runners-up and ten top twenty finishes.
Aside from its winning in the Miss Universe pageant, the BPCI also enumerated their achievements in other beauty pageants like the Miss International, Miss World, Miss Supranational, Miss Intercontinental, Miss Grand Interantional, Miss Tourism World, Queen of Tourism International, Miss ASEAN, Miss Model of the World, Miss Young International and Miss Maja.
