A TWELVE-YEAR-OLD boy was shot and wounded while trying to pacify his quarreling parents in Pagadian City, the police said.
Police Major Helen Galvez, Police Regional Office-Zamboanga Peninsula information officer, said the incident occurred around 8 a.m., Saturday, October 19, at Purok Muslim in Kawit Village, Pagadian City. Galvez said the victim was hospitalized for a head injury, while the suspect was identified as Brando, 39, the victim’s father.
The police official said Brando grabbed his caliber .45 pistol at the height of a heated argument with his wife, which prompted the victim to pacify them.She said Brando was arrested by responding policemen, who recovered the pistol from the suspect.
