CEBU CITY – The governor explained that the trip is upon the invitation of Israel Ambassador to the Philippines Ilan Fluss.
“This trip is at no cost to the province. This is going to be a productive trip because we can learn a lot that we can apply in our province,” Aumentado told reporters in a press briefing two days before the trip. Fluss said the invite came after his official visit to Cebu last June 2022 in which a number of businessmen and government officials expressed their interest to know Israel’s ways and best practices in developing its economy.
