The body of one of three Filipino fishermen killed in a bridge collapse in Yilan, Taiwan earlier this week will be flown back home Thursday.
The remains of Impang and another Filipino fisherman Andree Serencio were recovered Wednesday, a day after a bridge collapsed in Yilan county, crushing several fishing boats.Impang's wife Mary Ann went to ground zero in Yilin Saturday to see where the incident took place. “Parang nakahinga na ako kahit papano, hindi kagaya na hindi pa clear sa akin, hindi ako makatulog, hindi ako makakain, wala pa talaga tulala pa ako” the wife said.
Melanie Bautista, couldn’t help but cry upon arriving at the MECO office realizing that she had to go abroad just to retrieve the body of her departed husband.
