Interviewed on Super Radyo dzBB, Captain Vic Acosta, commander of the Philippine Coast Guard in Batangas, said two of the kids were found around 7:45 a.m. while the third was found around 10 a.m.Acosta estimated the ages of the three as between 6 to 8 years.Citing information reaching them, Acosta said the five drowned while trying to save each other.
"Allegedly base sa statement, 'yung isa biglang nalunod, tapos yung isa tinulungan sagipin hanggang sa lima silang nadisgrasya," he said.
