Asian Games after scoring four straight victories at the Makassar Open 2023 in Indonesia.

After absorbing a 7-1 loss to powerhouse Japan, the Blu Girls vented their ire on Malaysia University Varsyti, 13-0, and Southside Stingers of Australia, 7-0. “These victories underscore our team’s capabilities and commitment to excellence,” said Amateur Softball Association of the Philippines President Jean Henri Lhuillier.

Lhuillier also said the team’s comprehensive performances have made them one of the teams to watch as the tournament progresses, and its lone loss to Japan has done little to dampen its status as strong contenders.
