MANILA, Philippines –Another inmate died inside the Maximum Security Compound of theIn a press statement Monday, the Bureau of Corrections that supervises NBP and six other penal colonies around the country identified the inmate as Romelito Dural, 50. He was convicted on 2017 for two count of attempted homicide.BuCor said Dural was declared dead on arrival at the NBP hospital after suffering from multiple stab wounds.
Based on an incident report, Dural had a heated argument with Mark Mengullo, who was transferred to Bilibid in 2022 after he was found guilty of murder.
