The Bureau of Immigration (BI) reported the arrest of 11 illegal Chinese nationals in Tacloban City who were caught working without the necessary work permits and visa.

BI Commissioner Jaime Morente said the aliens were apprehended at their workplace along Zamora Street, Tacloban City during an operation conducted by agents from the BI intelligence division.

Those arrested were caught selling various consumer goods when the arresting team raided their establishments.
