The Bureau of Immigration (BI) has started implementing the partial lifting of the travel restriction to South Korea.

BI Commissioner Jaime Morente said the lifting was in compliance with recommendation the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases .

“Filipino tourists are now allowed to travel to Korea, except to the areas of concern, provided they execute a declaration over the health risks of the trip due to Covid-2019 outbreak,” Morente said
