A professional service firm in Bonifacio Global City in Taguig confirmed that one of their employees has tested positive for the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).

In a statement Saturday, Deloitte Philippines said that a “colleague” of theirs is currently in hospital receiving treatment and further tests.”

The Department of Health on Friday reported that a 62-year-old man with no history of travel to affected countries, and a 48-year-old lawyer who was recently in Japan, tested positive for the disease.“Deloitte is supporting the colleague and family in every way we can,” the firm said. “The health and safety of our people, our clients, and our community is our highest priority,” it said.
