The musical also stars Celeste Legaspi, Rachel Alejandro, Bituin Escalante, Mitch Valdes, and Dulce, among others. The show even includes an orchestra headed by the musical director and National Artist for Music Ryan Cayabyab. He also did the music for the project. National Artist for Theater Rolando Tinio wrote and translated the libretto for the show. The musical is based on the three-act English play, "A Portrait of the Artist as Filipino" by National Artist for Literature Nick Joaquin.
